PerfWeb Podcast Series

PerfWeb is a site designed for the busy perfusionist by scheduling regular ABCP category 1 CEU live programming. These programs are scheduled throughout the month and year to accommodate perfusionists schedules on a global scale.
The PerfWeb live programs are diverse in topics and in faculty and content experts. The format is relaxed and broadcast from a technologically advanced studio. Topics include: ECMO, fluid management, perfusion techniques, minimally invasive perfusion, renal replacement therapy, case studies, alarm desensitization and many other topics and lots of lively debates and discussions. All live programs on PerfWeb are approved for category 1 CEU by the ABCP and are all free to participate. A small fee is only required for a CEU certificate.
PerfWeb Journal Club Podcast Series
Host—Tammy Sparacino, CCP
Tammy Sparacino’s Journal Club is a review of selected published, peer reviewed articles and a description of the article subject and the authors’ conclusions. The program includes other peer reviewed articles that are germane to the topic of the reviewed article. The Journal Club is designed to inspire provocative thought and to bring the learner contemporary research publications that can be used to enhance their practices and improve patient care and outcomes.
PerfWeb Knowledge Nuggets Podcast Series
Host—John Ingram, CCP
John Ingram’s Knowledge Nuggets is a faced pace 15 minute review of a selected subject, approved for ABCP category 1 CEU. Knowledge nuggets topics range from medications, devices, techniques, transfusions, legal and more.
The host John Ingram assures each show will be impactful by always asserting the shows’ two mottos which are “Spend a Little Time and Expand Your Mind” and “Become a Better Perfusionist Today With This Take Away”.
